Qatar team off to Iran for FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers

DOHA, November 26 , 2017 – Qatar's basketball team delegation left Doha to Tehran to face Iranian counterparts in the Asian qualification for FIBA Basketball World Cup 2018 in China.

Qatar team will shake hands with Iran in the second match in the qualification stage on November 27 in Tehran, Iran.

Qatari side is pooled in-group C with Kazakhstan, Iran and Iraq, the first and second places in each group will cruise their way to the second round.
